Mini 26V Reel-Power has Arrived!

Hawk-Woods mini 26v batteries have been designed for running high voltage cameras such as ARRI + Phantom cameras and various lighting equipment. These mini 26v batteries, offer a third of the weight of the standard size Reel Power batteries.

Using low resistance cell technology, this will allow high discharge and improved cycle life for your battery packs. Using the Reel Power system, you will also benefit from drawing less current from your battery using the higher voltage batteries, giving them an easier life over the 14v system, thus improving cycle life further!

Capacities available will be 90Wh and 180Wh. With the 90Wh version this will be flight-safe so you can travel easily with this version.

Adaptors such as RPM-HS1A and RP-MCF1 will also be available for use with the mini range, however you can still use these batteries across existing Reel Power fittings and chargers.

When using RPM-HS1A this provides the ARRI 8 pin Lemo on a fixed fly lead and offers many outputs such 4x D-TAP outputs, 2x LEMO outputs all regulated to 12v, whilst boasting 2x RS 3P outputs 24v. Also, on the side of the unit is an input for a floor battery, so you can provide ultimate run times, which can also be used as a hot-swap feature.

RP-MCF1 will be available, as an option to use two batteries side by side, allowing these to be rotated in a hot-swap format. These batteries will run in parallel, offering you combined run-times, this will offer the benefit of less frequent battery changes.
