The VL-RM7S has been designed to fit directly between the Sony PMW F55/F5 and the V-Lok battery or any camera or camcorder fitted with the Hawk-Woods' V-Lok or Sony V-Mount.

This radio mic holder is compatible with Sony wireless radio mic receivers. Power and audio connection to the receiver is via the 15-pin 'D' connector in the base of the holder.

Sony radio mics like the DWR-02D will work on a analogue frequency but not digitally.

Note: Please be aware when powering further accessories from the D-Tap power output such as an LED instrument RF Emissions may be induced on to the positive battery line which can cause audio hum. This is commonly known as an "earth loop" and is caused by noise radiation emitted from certain accessories when powered by a common battery.
