The VL-P300 provides a method of powering the Sony PMW-300 with on-board V-Lok VL-70, VL-100, VL-140 batteries etc. The adaptor attaches to the camera in place of the standard battery - requiring no tools - and power is supplied to the DC input connection via the flying lead on the VL-P300.

The VL-P300 has the added benefit of Power-Con (D-Tap) output which can be used to provide power for additional items and accessories.
