When I found the Gripper system I was looking for a simple and robust power solution for my camera and monitor in the field. As documentary filmmaker who frequently films all-day in tough and austere environments I needed a system that would mimimize the number of individual batteries I need to carry and that could keep up in harsh locations.

With two 100 Watt Gripper Batteries I can film all day with power going to both my my Sony A7S mkii and Atomos Ninja Assassin, and still have half a day in reserve. I had concerns about the connections and the mount on my 15mm rails, but both have been put to rest. After 3 weeks running about in the Himalayas without one problem I am confident that the Gripper Battery was the right choice for me.
