Designed as a convenient method for mounting hardware such as a Hard Disk or Wireless Video, it also accepts all existing Hawk-Woods Radio Mic holders. Power is obtainable by attaching it to the DV-CA12 Link Step-Up Adaptor.

Alternatively it can be used as a stand-alone mount by linking directly to the DV-970L battery.
