BP-30U
The Hawk-Woods BP-30U has been designed, manufactured and tested to be a direct replacement for Sony BP-U type batteries.

With a built-in fuel gauge & Hawk-Woods build quality, the high-tech Li-Ion BP-30U camera battery offers stunning performance for its size and weight and unlike many replacement BP-U batteries on the market, the BP-30U uses the original battery contacts to provide power, rather than a flying lead connected to the devices DC power input.

The BP-30Us built-in Total Battery Protection system offers over discharge / voltage protection (If placed on unsuitable / incorrect charger), short circuit protection and thermal protection.

COMPATIBLE WITH SONY PXW-FS7 AND FS5

"..keeping the little battery in the back of the camera has been a bit of a game changer"
I've used the v mount and the little 30wh BPU the most - keeping the little battery in the back of the camera has been a bit of a game changer and allows me to hot swap v mounts on the fly. The 98wh BPUs I've only used on one shoot - but they worked great - it was a half day interview shoot and think we only just got onto the second battery. I think I will rely on these when I need a stripped back camera package as they help to keep the camera build a little smaller. The charger is nice and snappy too.
